***I need help with the Taking Care of Business quest***... my follower killed Haelga after i tried pickpocketing her.. so now i cant get the debt she owes for brynjolf ; however, i have her? vase.. how am i suppose to join thieves guild? (i tried talking to brynjolf again but mission still incomplete) and there is no icon on map that indicates i have to do anything. Any advice?

----- also i am too far into the game that i am unable to restart to a save point before that event.
