So I got to the end of the quest and was to lead saadia to the stables to turn her in. I decided to fast travel as I figured this would save some time. Wouldn't you know it just makes her disappear off the face of the earth. Well why not revert to an old save you say? Because my last save was an autosave that was overwrote. Guess I'm sol.
