Why is there no breath meter?

Can every race breath underwater now or is it a guessing game as to when you'll drown?

You drown when your health bar is empty...

You'll take damage if you're submerged for too long. There simply isn't a meter to let you know how long you have, for the sake of inconvenience.

Whats the matter, you cant count?

What happens to you when you go swimming in real life, do you just drown without a breath meter?

I was wondering where the breath meter was too - thanks for answering. :)

I'm guessing it will be added in a patch in the near future. Morrowind didn't have an enemy health bar when it was released, it added in the first patch a few weeks later. Maybe it will be the same with this.

I wouldn't call it a meter per se, but you definitely have a pretty good indication of when you are running out of breath.

It's sort of funny that people complain when things are not like real life but then freak when there's no breath meter.

It might be added in a later patch. From what I can guess, they might not have thought it was the most necessary thing to implement, seeing as you don't spend a lot of time underwater. Along with that, health regenerates now, so I guess losing health because you're drowning is the sign to get some air, and just chill for a few seconds.

I see no meter either. I know I'm out of breath when I start to drown. Kinda lame they didnt give us a meter! :/

Don't be a jerk off, you could apply the same logic to health/stamina meters in game too. They're there for convenience sake.

Anyways, it is annoying but not as annoying as not having a meter for your warewolf transformation.
