I had a moment...

So last night I had the place to myself for a couple of hours on Skyrim and I'm wondering along a night on a stolen horse I found, off to meet a barmaid and an old guy about a wall.
I then come across some guys outside a cave who tell me not to go in there as they have an undead problem.

Yawn, I think, another scripted cave with bad guys. I could be playing Oblivion or even Dragons Age 2 (though don't get me started about reusing cave maps). Perhaps its time for an early night.

Suddenly, a Dragon swoops down and starts mascaraing the guard nearby and the cave guy and my horse leg it... hmm, ok. So I crack open some lightning and some firebolts.
Bugger, no effect and this dragon starts spitting frost at me which is really starting to hurt, so I grab a bound sword and fast heal and go for the personal touch.

Yea, this really isn't working. Panicking slightly I go for a strategic 'leg it' option.
Running down a hill, I come face to face with a tribal woman who also starts pelting me with spells which crack straight through my ward, this really isn't my day.

I jump off a nearby cliff into a river below and drag myself out onto the bank, low on stamina, health and magicka, I get my bearings.

Turning round, and in the dead of night I see what I've wondered into. In the near distance, a large camp full of tribals complete with fires and camps and a dozen pee'd of locals.
Arrows fill the sky as the Dragon swoops over the cliff and circles overhead, pelting the locals from above.

Ok, you got me. Bethesda you've made something of gaming genius.

I went to bed two hours later..
