No other words to describe this game...
This time they made a piece of art.I had a discussion with some friends some time ago and they were of the idea a video game could be art.Well they were absolutly right!
The atmosphere is a blast...man i loose myself in waterfalls and skies.Sounds are just what u need to be in that place in that moment.
U know we can always find some bugs in this game, always, but guys what Beths gave us is something really huge in terms of immersion.
Thx for reading this...it was just a thought and i needed to write it down.

I was damn near moved to tears when riding my horse mid day through the ravine towards Markarth. Absolute beauty! I mean the whole damn game is gorgeous, but riding down there I was thinking when the CS is out, I'm so modding myself a cottage down there somewhere.

Yes exactly...i know it's a game also about combat and quests but damn when u just walk around or ride down its a beauty.

Yes, Todd was not kidding when he mentioned that they were trying to re-capture that "Morrowind feel". That, and a bunch of new content I find very welcoming as well.

Ladies and gentlemen, we have here the sequel to Morrowind that a lot of us have been long waiting for.

How good are all the waterfalls?? Rhetorical question; they're amazing.

It's a phenomenal game. I'm still exploring the world, mostly on horseback, and am blown away by something new literally every five mi it's. 25 hours played for me, and I've barely scratched the surface.

This is Bethesda's finest hour to date - no question about it.

Just standing at snow mountains is breath taking. Love this game so much.

True words spoken in this thread. The land of Skyrim is a wonder to explore just like Morrowind was, this game feels very organic, very natural and it's a wonder to see. A work of art.

I feel that too...but to feel like morrowind i need to go a little further and visit more places.

25 hours in for me and I'm in love with the scenery. Climbing mountains at night in the north is the most fun I've had in a while.

I have not yet seen all of the world.I have seen places that amazed me and bored me to hell.

The riversides,icy places and partly frozen lakes were great sights.I also love to climb down high snowy mountains,reminds me of the scene Elrond approaches the Rohirrim camps in LOTR III.The Winterhold Colleague
was amazing.My jaw literally dropped when I saw it in distance and I must admit I wasn't expecting this moment in Skyrim.

However,the other landscape I've seen until now still look like Oblivion's empty landscape,I'm a little disappointed in that.Oh well.

And the dungeons are boring too IMHO.(Design wise)
Dwemer ruins are not half bad but the only one I explored,Mzuleft started repeating itself after a while and started to look like the Imperial Sewers as I got deeper in it.Needed more machinery and more yellow.

Though in many cases,when it starts snowing all of my worries go away LOL

Well, with what u wrote u are just describing the feeling that we have when we go visit a real place.There are some great views and some boring one.
So this is the thing that i love about Skyrim...its " reality ", its amazing views and then its normal or boring views.
About dungeons and things like that well for me here comes the real game so its not about contempling a view but entering confine spaces.Its just my opinion.

I was quite sceptical after that catastrophic launch of Brink and Rage but gosh, never thought Skyrim to be that good.
To now the environment impresses me very much and i like to roam in the wilderness because there are so many things happening.
For me it′s a a good synergy of Morrowind and Oblivion even Bethesda goes more into that casual gaming area.

I like traveling a lot in the real world, I take road trips across the 48 every year, as well as traveling through southeast Asia, China/mongolia and Siberia and Russia and Europe. This game reminds me more than anything but the real thing why I do it. The mountains are breathtaking, the lush wet green forest and dark skies around Riverrun remind me of why I love the pacific northwest, and the meadows and caustic geysers and boiling pools remind me of Yellowstone national park. I never thought that watching the clouds swirl around snow capped peaks drifting down among the tree tops themselves would be something I'd see in a game. This is absolutely a work of art, more often than not I end up slowing my horse down to a plodding walk now even 4 days in just to marvel at the landscapes around me.

It is a synergy about these two games yes...but not too evident either.
In Skyrim there is something, strange to say, about our period more than a comparison with another game.There's something spooky about this game.
The soul of this game is "dark". And thats its big plus.
