Anyone else finding pools of blood in some caves, apears to be pink .is it red for anyone?

Its not blood, its oil. Try setting it on fire from a safe distance.

Lucky you. In a certain dungeon there was this vat of thing hanging from the wall; i didnt know what it was so i used my sword and whacked it.

It plummeted to the ground and exploded in my face.

Hanging lanterns can also be set aflame. You can even drop them on foes.
