There have been numerous posts, a few by myself, regarding the problem with weapon racks in Skyrim. In particular, at least in my case, I cannot place weapons on the weapon racks in the house in Whiterun. However, there are some users that are able to do this. I play on the 360 and a friend of mine, who also plays on the 360 is able to place his weapons on the racks in the house in Whiterun. Its odd that this would be a problem for one player and not an issue for another, playing the same game on the same system.

I am determined to figure out the reason for this problem as I'm concerned that Bethesda will simply ignore this issue altogether. In order to do this it would be of great use if I was able to see how many people are getting them to work and how many are not, which console they are playing on etc. Perhaps it is a problem with a certain type of Xbox. I play on an Elite. My friend plays on one of the newer, slim models. I don't know. Either way, what type of system are you playing on and are you having issues with weapon racks?

I play on an Xbox 360 Elite and the weapon racks do not work. What systems are you guys using and what experience do you have? I'll be sure to post my findings as I'm going to do some experimenting with this later. I think its probably tied to some kind of series of events that happens. Ideally if you had a save right before you bought the house you could try different things, like changing the order of purchases for home upgrades.
