It seems like most people I have seen on the forums are running a 'pure' character of some sort (pure warrior Nord, pure mage Breton, etc...). I have always been drawn to the 'Battlemage' concept as it seems to be a nice mix of several skills, so you don't get bored with any one.

How many other Battlemages do we have on the forums? I would love to see your character build/skills that you focus on if you do.

My build:

Dunmer - 'Azrael'
- Perks - One Handed, Destruction, Heavy Armor
- Secondary - Smithing (of course )

-With Azrael, my default setup is a one handed weapon of some sort (starting to lean toward swords because of the awesome Crit Chance perk) and Flames in the other. Since I am not running a pure mage type and wearing Necro robes, the Novice spells are much more efficient for my character. The apprentice level spells burn through magic pretty fast and frankly just don't do enough damage for me. The primary Shout I use is Fire Breath (only up to level 2) but I only have about ten of the shouts right now. The guys I have the most trouble with are definitely high level mage type characters (Draugr Wights...), but overall I have actually found it not too....challenging playing as a Battlemage. To be fair I am playing on the default setting, but I will up that to Expert tonight to see if it gives me more of a rush when battling. Overall I am really liking the Battlemage set up. Fun stuff. Oh and I'm a Werewolf. Cuz why not?
