Skyrim MAJOR glitch and some suggestions in regards to gamep

Ok, I own Skyrim for the Xbox 360, so I can't say this is the same with all versions of the game. Twice now my game has glitched after loading my save from the title screen. The game usually loads up very quickly, but on these 2 occasions the game took very very long to load up and then when it finally loaded, I had noticed something very strange. Everything in the game World would look to be normal, but one crucial thing would come to light. Enemies, or attackers for that matter, they won't fight you, even though they do engage. They stand with weapons drawn and do nothing. I also noticed that on both occassions the waterfall, near riverwood, has an entire section of water texture missing just before the fall. Since on both occassions when the the loaded game does this, it has shown the same problems, so I just wanted to flag this up incase it was a game breaking glitch. Who knows how many other things fail to load properly when it does this, as everything, besides the water texture, seems to be normal. Had it not been for the enemies not attacking me I wouldn't have thought something was up. Even the villagers refuse to attack after you kill the chicken. lol.

Anyway, onto suggestions for game improvement. Am I the only one who thinks it strange that being over encumbered in this game doesn't make any sense? I like how it slows you way down, but there should be a point where it stops you entirely. I have carried 100's more than my limit from loot and beared the slow walk to town. Oblivion forced you to use magic or take only the best you could carry. Chopping wood in this game for instance, I did some exercise (yes me, not my character) and just chopped wood, but I did it for so long that I had over 1000 in weight of wood, carrying 100's of pieces, which is entirely unrealistic, then recieved over 2000 gold for it all from the happy chap near the saw mill - far too easy to make money this way. I think they should limit how much wood you can chop at least so that you're forced to go to the other areas where you find a log pile. Also, please fix the Faendar glitch, where you can recieve archery lessons for free, many times over. It's a tempting offering and annoying knowing it's there for the exploit.

Please, everyone, post your suggestions or whatever here. Thanks. Sorry for the long post.

The way I see it on the encumbrance thing, it is a major improvement over stopping me from moving! If you want to make the slow walk to town, more power to you! I think you deserve to keep everything you get if you're willing to deal with that. But personally, I like to run. So I just find the thing that weighs the most and has the least value per 'pound' and drop it.

As to the bugs, I have only had one. I am on PC. I set it to save every 15 minutes, plus it autosaves on wait and rest and leaving and entering locations. So when I did run into a glitch, I just went back a couple mins in time. Also, the game keeps more than one autosave now (seems to be 3). So that is a good thing. Check all your recent autosaves and see if you can find one that doesn't have the glitch.

Clean your Xbox. And don't bounce around and slam things while playing. Virtually 100% of non-repeatable "glitches" are caused by overheating/dirty machines.

My Xbox is almost brand new. I have 2 of them, the old model and now the new remodelled 250gb console. The consistency to the glitch is why I raise it. I am not bashing the game. I am raising awareness of a possible glitch, which is a game breaker, because, like I said, nobody attacks you. Imagine this happens to someone who tries the game for the first time and they're thinking "what the hell is wrong with this game?". Funny how this first happend after I loaded up Oblivion again for a quick peek. Maybe cache files clash? Who knows, but this information might prove useful to anybody else who has the feeling something isn't right with their NPC foes.
