Is it just me, or does anyone else realize that maces and axes have a significantly less number of kill animations, or that they happen much less often than swords? I can't confirm this, as I haven't done too much testing myself, but it just seems like swords got better treatment in the kill animation department. Swords always seem to slice and stab in a really pleasing manner, while axes and maces just seem to have a 2 second 'chop into the guy' type move. Maybe it's just me, but I rarely see anything cool happen with my good ol' choppers.
Furthermore, do any weapons besides daggers have a stealth kill animation? I try power attacking from stealth and just about everything I can think of, but still no dice.
What gives bethesda? How come no love for the heavier one-handers? Did swords really only get those special animations for marketing in the trailers and such? I hate to point in that direction, but i can't help but feel it to be true.
*NOTE* I have yet to pick up the decapitation perk. I hope that's where war axes will start shining, being chopping weapons and all.
tl;dr do swords have the most kill animations? Are daggers the only weapons with a stealth kill animation?
Edit: Also, has anyone seen any dual power attack kill animations? I've only seen one weapon at a time.
