20 Hours In...Impressions

After about twenty hours, I no longer consider Skyrim to be a game that I am playing. It is, in fact, my hobby. I'm not sure if I could sing higher praise for any video game - for my money, it is the most engrossing gaming experience ever created. That being said, there are a few lingering issues that bug me. Keep in mind, I am playing a pure mage on xbox360 (though I am eager to begin my second character).

1) Followers die permanently if I accidentally administer the deathblow. This is crippling for a destruction mage, and it is basically not possible for me to utilize a follower, unless I want to reload constantly. Spells like flame, firebolt, or rune are just too dangerous and will constantly kill them. I see no reason why they should stand up after being killed but enemies but not if they are accidentally killed by me. Doesn't make sense.

2) Unbalanced leveling. I experienced difficulty leveling up destruction, using mainly flame and firebolt...until I discovered that using rune spells accelerates that about five times. Although my firebolt and rune do the same damage, the run gives me a ton more experience, so now I just cast rune at the feet of any enemies. Glad I figured this out... (p.s. anyone else experiencing this with their build? If so, what spells?)

I'm sure there are some other things that bug me, but right now that's about all that comes to mind. Like I said though, marvelous game. Now, sleep mode on this damn pc so I can get back to Skyrim!

The only real bug I had so far is when I load a game and I travel to the area I previously discovered, there's different corpse as it was in my gameplay - I'll give an example:I yesterday killed a dragon near Riverwood and the next day it's skeleton was gone and there were two sabre cats instead.Besides, Mirmulnir's skeleton appeared right in front of Whiterune at once.Otherwise, I didn't run into any serious bugs, game is awesome of course.
