I'm having a problem. Most of the factions in the big cities are hostile to my character. I've been in 4-5 big cities now, and the college is pretty much the only non-hostile faction. If i do alot of quests for one faction, will that automaticly turn me hostile to others? I even went to a new town just now, and they were hostile as well.

I'm not quite sure why this is happening. Some of the guards have shouted something about a vampire, but i havent done anything "vampiric" in the game. I've stolen alot of stuff from the difrerent cities, but the new town were like i said hostile as well, so i'm pretty sure that's not why.

Is it a bug or have i just missunderstood something?

probably contracted vampirism without knowing it
dno exactly how it works but at first it's an easily curable disease
but if you sleep or wait too long or something it turns you into a full blown vampire
have to feed on some1 at night to get rid of it I think

dude maybe you're a vampire.... menu>magic>active effects. GO TO A TEMPLE!

I do wish debuffs were a bit more obvious on the UI. Accidental vampirism really shows the flaw of the system as it stands.

For me it was just "you look a little pale" from npcs that clued me to go into the magic menu and look at active effects to see what's wrong with me. I've been fortunate enough not to get bitten so far

I think it's pretty awesome. Accidentally catching a disease, ignoring the symptoms, then getting penalized for it.

Unless you sleep straight for 6 days, you have to notice something. Even the early stages of vampirism before people become hostile.

I totally agree. I should have noticed way earlier as well. Every time i went ourside i get a flashing light saying something like "vampiric blood is boiling in the sunlight". Doh!
