Underleveling

Post » Fri May 11, 2012 5:30 am

Hi just a question about lvling. Playing warrior atm. What if I start lvling a lot on ex alchemy that will make char lvling up without gaining skills I use. Won't that make char weaker? What I mean you can't control the lvling. Thanks.

lvling any skill will increase Exp towards a lvl up but the higher the skill is the higher its contribution to your next lvl Example: One hand lvl 60-61 will get much more exp towards the next lvl then getting Alchemy 20-21

Ok thx for info seems smart :-) But isn't it strange you will get experience faster at higher skills?

Currenly I don't like the leveling system. It's better than OB for sure, but not completely unbroken.

I have perks I can't even use yet becuase the skills I want to put them in are not high enough yet. Why are they not high enough? Because talking to merchants, sneaking around, making potions, etc. and etc. keep leveling me.

That's what I mean. Extra things will lvl you. How will that affect the game in the long run?

You don't have to level up every time it is offered. If you are trying to get specific attributes up stop levelling until you get the attributes you need.

Actually he's saying you can put off accepting levelups. Ie not allocate 10 pts to magic/health/stam. That will keep the enemies (and loot) soft-scaled to your lower level until you have the killing power to handle it.

Also -- you can totally skill up to 100 in something without taking any perks in it.
