So I am on my way to Solitude and two wolfs attack me. I drag their bodies from the road, lay a flower and go on my way.

Just down the road comes a giant and a painted furry animal like a miniature steer. The giant walks by me, I'm in awe. My little khajit just comes up to his hip. Barely.

Then, curiosity kill the cat - she can't help but to follow the giant, at a distance, mind you, for a bit. The giant walks for a bit, then moves off the road, and looks at something on the ground. Then some steps later, looks again at something on the ground. Then looks right at my character, scratches it's back with it's club and then meanders off. I wondered what it was looking at and ran over to see.

It had stopped and looked at the wolves I'd just killed!! Then looked right at me!

Oh man, this game, this game. Gawd Dang.

*shakes head in stupefied wonder*

i can comment on the steer. the farmers give them to the giants as a peace offering to leave their farms alone. i ran into a farmer once about to hand his steer over

I was fighting a dragon with a giant helping me as a distraction. The dragon was nearly dead when a mammoth killed me from behind.

I walked out of River Run, wandering around after selling off a bunch or stuff and seeing my wife. I see hear a dragon cry over head, and immediately get my weapons ready for a fight. But the dragon isn't interested in me at all, i look over and see its actually after a giant. The dragons hit the giant with a few sweeping blasts of Ice, However the giant just ignores it and keeps walking. But that all changes when the dragon lands. It fires off another ice blast, but the giant walks right through it and smacks the dragon with its huge club. The dragon is stunned for a second then launches it self back in the air and shoots another ice blast. The giant again just stand there taking the hit. The dragon lands again and chomps at the giant. The gaint ignores the attack and promptly hits the dragon twice with its club. The dragon screams then falls over dead and the giant walks away. I walk up to the dragons body and get a free dragon soul.

uh... because it didn't attack me, maybe?

I am not inclined to kill things for no reason.
