The Forsworn Conspiracy and No One Escapes Cidhna Mine are two awesome quests from Markarth. To sum it up quickly, you end up fleeing from a prison either by yourself, or with a band of Forsworns. They will flee the city and kill all in their way, and you are supposed to not do anything, the problem is, they don't tell you that. So i ended up killing every guard i saw, thinking "This is fun!". Turns our, 11 levels and lots of hours later i return to Markarth to do a quest, and they are trying to put me in jail! Damn, guards, even though i was told i was guilt free and no one would do anything. So i accept my fate and try to go to jail, but the entire conversation just loops over and over again, so the only thing you can do is Resist Arrest.. So the entire towns guard supply comes running for me and i can't do anything in Markarth. Does any lovely soul have a brilliant solution to this, or am i doomed to waiting for a patch from Bethesda?

The only thing I can think of is to level up speech and take the perk that allows you to bribe guards. No guarantee it'll work, but may be worth a try.
