I have NEVER see a game this alive. The visuals alone are hands down the best the 360 has seen and the music is just stunning.

I am about 2 hours in and I have seen things I never did before....amazing

I live in scandinavia and the winter night-time in Skyrim is just phenomenally similar to what we experience up here in real life :)

Well done arts department!

The first time I saw the northern lights, my Nord was high up in the mountains heading towards Bleak Falls Barrow. He looked up and these blue-green lights were radiating everywhere. The wind was blowing, there was some mist going by, I was like :ooo:

I had the exact same experience. That's when I realised just how much time this game is going to take from my life :sad:

I agree, I was making my first trip to High Hrothgar and I was nearing the top of the mountain when I spotted the beautiful aurora. Then a troll killed me.
Ah, the deadly beauty of Skyrim...

I use Tritton 360 head phones and the sounds are incredible. Just the sounds of your foot steps in the thick snow drifts and the way the wind rattles the trees and picks up snow and water from the falls makes you shiver. Yesterday I just stood and watched fog move in from the mountains and roll across a valley while a cool October moon lit up the sky. The way the water splashes and rushes over the rocks and spawning salmon make there way upstream...just awe inspiring. So many little touches that create an overall experience. Nice job Bethesda...

I live in northern Minnesota (its pretty much Scandinavia) and its times like this that make me love it. My home looks much like Skyrim, minus mountains, and today is the first major snow that's going to stick forever (our first teaser snow was the day before Skyrim--mother nature KNEW :wink: ). It's really beautiful here. Yeah Skyrim is the most amazing game I've ever played, but guys you wanna be careful with language like its so much better than real life... I'm sure most of you are kidding but seriously... the world's a wonderful place, despite shortcomings. The beauty of games like Skyrim often helps me really appreciate earth. And it has less bugs :tongue: . Well, take that back: we've got plenty of bugs, and they're disgusting.

Okay I'll get off my soap-box now, go enjoy SKYRIM!!

Youve got a solid point, but Im one of those people who like to appreciate the "winter romantics" from the coziness of a cabin or through my tv-screen :)

I just hate the cold!

Yep it's an amazing game.

But still, if only...

The visuals alone are hands down the best the 360 has seen

...the graphics weren't originally designed for 5-year-old hardware (XBox 360), and could use the full capabilities of PCs even a couple years old, let alone modern PCs ;_;
