Is any sort of hotkey system? : V

I hate this favorites system, I shouldn't have to keep having to pause the game a bunch of times in the middle of a fight to switch weapons, switch spells, apply poisons or drink potions. Hotkeys work, people like them, and they have been fine for years now, no need to fix what isn't broken. Is there some hotkey system I can switch to or something? this is just annoying...

Yes here is how to do it. Its not intuitive at all. First favorite the item or the spell. Then hit Q to pull up the favorites menu and mouse over the favorite and hit a number on the num pad

Why thankyou sir... I see there are hotkeys... but having to hit the Q button and pause the game is still annoying...
