Somewhere along the beautiful, scenic learning curve ...

I'm slowly learning, but my! how slow I am. Before I can go much further, I need help with three things (for the moment):

1) My mouse. I find that my mouse moves in huge sweeping curves, so I've been unable to develop any accuracy. I'm used to having very precise control in graphics design in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop, but I'm not seeing it here. I have a Logitech cordless mouse, several years old. Currently I've set my pointer speed to the slowest possible, which seemed to help a tiny bit but not that much. Any suggestions for anything I can do to get better control?
2) Sometimes I've found that my game seems to freeze and I can't get out of it without quitting the game -- but without being able to save. I think I've just figured out what it is, but not what to do about it. I think I'm entering console mode (I remember it existed in Oblivion, but not why) but I have no idea how to get out of that mode. How, please?

3) After I finally feel more competent, I'll probably start a new character. In the interim, however, I'd like to see how my character looks. I know how to look at her in third party from above, but how can I see her full face and from different angles?

Thanks much for any suggestions.

Ooops -- I think maybe I should have posted this under spoilers -- could someone move it for me? Thanks

While I don't know what the control scheme is for PC, I do know that on the PS3 (and vichariously 360) when in 3rd person you can rotate the camera with the left stick while not in combat.

I would imagine that there is a keybind for the PC version that rotates the camera when in third person, so I'd check the keybinds in settings first.

Good luck! :D

Change your look sensitivity to make looking around much easier and smoother, the base sensitivity is a carry over from Xbox where you need a low sensitivity.

Karras, I have no idea what my look sensibility is (showing my ignorance, as usual).

Equivalent of the left stick on the PC?
