Is there a benefit for using one dagger over two in the game

Alright, so I have a couple questions. Right now I'm playing as a "good" Nord who uses Heavy Armor and is geared towards 2-H weaponry. I was thinking of doing a sneaky character.

So, is there a benefit for using one dagger over two? I'm just wondering because I think it will make the mood better in the game. Two daggers doesn't seem very sneaky to me for some reason.

I think I heard the multipliers for daggers in the game were bugged, is this true?

Also, which race is best geared towards a 1/2 H dagger/ Bow play-style? If being empty handed is a serious drawback, I might just go with Illusion in the other hand.

Thanks for any input.

Would the forging skill also be beneficial for this class?

1 dagger: You can block
2 dagger: higher damage output

my current level 21 assassin character uses his 2 daggers when fighting non warrior / heavy armor characters, when I am fighting those characters I switch to sword and shield if I can't take them down with a bow... now, sword and shield might not be very assassin like, but sometimes I screw up with my sneaking, set off a trap, or completely miss something, and I need to do it if I don't want to die, because warriors will kill you every time (face to face) unless you're playing on a low difficulty

You shouldn't be fighting at all as an assassin. Simply get behind your target and oneshot it.

I don't plan on blocking much in the game, I think I'll just go with Illusion in the second hand.

You want to be a sneaky character with a heavy armor? You should use light armor instead, the reason for that is your weight. The heavier your boots, the more likely you are to be heard, except you use the sneak perk "Silence" which silences your movement while in stealth.

Regarding the daggers, I wear two of them. 90% of the time, I only use the unenchanted dagger in my right hand for the sneak attacks, but in my offhand I wield a dagger enchanted with Soultrap, so you can use what you need.

did you finish reading my post? and that doesnt always work, even on just adept difficulty with my enchanted skyforge steel daggers and my 15x dagger multiplier, there are some enemies that I just can't one shot, I was running a dungeon just an hour ago, and some thalmor person still had over half their health left after my sneak attack
