Not finding anything but HideIron armor. : V

Seriously I'm level 12(?) now and I haven't found anything but Iron, Hide, and Imperial armor... where is the Steel, Glass, Ebony, etc?

Same thing goes for weapons too. Nothing but Steel, Orcish, and creature-specific weaponry like ancient nord stuff and falmer swords.

I'm level 21 and the best helmet I've come across was a Scale Helmet.
I got other stuff like Elven, but I smithed those myself.
Smith stuff.

"Smith." isn't a legitimate answer - this stuff should be appearing in the wild, or in shops SOMEWHERE.

You should explore dungeons more often, I've gotten myself ebony armour that way.

Level in this game doesn't mean much... you can get to level 12 without even leaving the tutorial if you really want to. Just keep playing... do some side quests. You'll find better gear.

I am a level 7, and have found all of what you said, and have found Orc and Ancient Nord items all in my travels... You must have not explored too many caves, or dungeons... We still got a long way to go, dont you worry.

No, I've found Orc and Ancient Nord stuff. It's plentiful. As is Iron and Hide. But that's it.

I haven't seen a single piece of elven, glass, ebony, steel, and whatever else armor/weaponry there is. And I've done plenty of dungeons for the 12 or so hours I've thrown into the game so far.

You're expecting high level armor and you're only at lvl 12? Seriously? Patience is a virtue ya know.

I'm level20 and just started to see elven weapons and steel plate armor.

I personally am glad that I'm not see deadric armor after only 20hrs. I always thought new armor came to quickly in Oblivion.

I've found steel armor; I was given some steel armor, and you can buy steel armor in Whiterun. I'm just level 8. Just found some orcish stuff in a Cairn. It's out there...least for me so far.

Remember the level cap in this game isn't 50ish, its more like 75ish. Personally, at level 32 I've only just started finding ebony equipment. (Although I've had legendary daedric since level 22 ;p)

Well, I have seen steel items plentiful too. Bottom line, obviously, you're going to have to move further along the game to see ebony, elven, etc. items.
