The sound is COMPLETLY garbled in the beginning cut scenes. I had to enable Cut scenes just to know what they are saying. EVERY OTHER GAME out of my 50 PLUS PS3 titles have no issues. I had a PS3 2nd edition not original connect via HDMI.
Already have the 1.01 patch applied and still garbage.

And this is a release game. Any suggestions ..

So one of the fixes i had found was to change the Audio on the HDMI from Automatic to Manual and that seems to have resolved it.
Another thing Audio worked fine through New PlayStation head set that recently came out.So that pointed me in the right direction.

Note to self this REALLY needs to be posted or stickied some where.

I have no issues regarding sound so far and I've come as far as the mission where you have to get the working parts for the buggy. Although, if you want to talk about sounds, I'm not to fond of the quad bike sound. I'm not sure if I'm gonna like the sound of vehicles in this game in general, one review pointed out that the vehicles sound like a lawnmower LOL. Otherwise, the gun combat is fun as hell!
