Hi everyone,

I am a German who prefers to play his games in English and therefore has his Xbox set to "Language: English."

I bought Rage today, installed Disc 1, downloaded Anarchy & Sewer data, downloaded a patch, started the game, and everything is in French. Menus, voice acting, etc.
I tried switching around the language and locale, with no improvement, but I noticed that setting the language to German yielded the correct result.

Is this a bug? Is there a way to remedy this?

In another forum someone told me that the English Voice track was simply not included at all in the German PAL version.
Is this true?

Any help or information is very much appreciated.

So, when will this be fixed? Patch, additional download, what?!

You can't release a EU game without English! That's totally stupid!

Who ever made this decision, he should get fired!

P.S. no wonder RAGE sells that bad in Germany!

Rage is in the top 10 of game sales on all platforms in Germany...

Right now, they are fighting with Mario Kart Wii for place 10... Great achievement, I have to admit... NOT!

The sales must have been overwhelming after this long time in development...

I am afraid, that was the last game I bought from id's IP's that is running under Bethesda/ZeniMax flag.

That is no fan service.

Mario games are always top sellers for all ages so competing with Nintendos plumber isn't that bad at all for a first person shooter that has a limited mature audience.

Btw.: I bought the british version to get the english language copy.
