I have the xbox 360 slim with 4gb. I need to buy the hdd 250 gb of microsoft to install rage or it's possibly to install the game in an usb 16gb, each dvd per time?

The full install is about 22 gb, but you can also install one disc at a time if you like. Disc 1 is part 1 of the campaign, Disc 2 is part 2, and Disc 3 is multiplayer only.
Once you're on disc 2, the only reason you'd want to have disc 1 installed still is if you wanted to return to those areas.
