Nice find.

I'm already loving how the powers aren't just your generic list, but are ones that can be used for stealth gameplay, as well as fighting.
I wouldn't expect less from one of the minds behind Thief :)

Alright, now I definitely have to keep my eyes on this. Sounds very promising.

Awesome. My only qualm with the article is their use of "ect." in place of "etc.".

# Powers can be upgraded with runes. They note that you won't find enough runes on a single playthrough to upgrade everything.

I′m sure this means you had the chance to start a second playthrough with your character after you have beaten the game first time.
Thanks for the link!

Edit: Thanks once more, this article includes many great infos! I begin to love this game, I was sceptical at the beginning, becuase it is not Dark Messiah 2 or similiar :)
But it sounds now interesting very for me!

the bizarre lovechild of Thief, Ultima Underworld, and Assassin's Creed.

as much as i hate simplifying gameplay innovation like that, i could not think of a more bizarre, more enticing amalgamation of mechanics.

"The powers that you do have won't include stuff like fireballs." & "Other powers will include Bend Time, Windblast ect."

Does not compute?
We do not have generic magic ability A, but we do have generic magic ability B?

"Powers can be upgraded with runes. They note that you won't find enough runes on a single playthrough to upgrade everything."

Basically like in Dark Messiah. You can play it once as a Warrior, then as a Mage, then as a Rouge, then as an Archer, then mingle the archetypes.

"They refer to the AI as "anolog AI"."

And it reads like the AI from games like http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commandos_%28series%29.

[i]"Their lead level designer wanted them to remove celerity-double jump-blink combo once he saw it being used because of a fear that people would use it to get out of the map."

Which will happen.
