hi all,
unfortunately i already skipped this side-quest - but i'm still wondering: where is the damn purple rune to open the sarcophagus (i think its chapter 2, after the city).
i found the yellow one, the green one, and of course the red one at the beginning of the side-quest. but i spent 1hour to walk through the area.... didn't find anything purple...

I have the same problem! I am just doing this quest (big silver coffin that needs 4 runes, in the dungeon after the city) and I can not find the fourth rune! Anyone know its location?

IIRC that is the final one, in which case you need to light an arrow with blue flame and light the flame thingie behind the bars in the middle of the long hallway

This took me a while to figure out, you have to use Elara to light the blue flame and open the middle path there will be some weapons . These are important side quests, the 3 orbs you get allow you to get a very powerful weapon for one of the later levels of the game.

Are you folks playing as E'lara. There is an observation event she doesn't seem to get in those back hallways. Clear the area where the runes are out to your stuck point, switch to Caddoc, and you should get the observation event. (You know where you see a B on the screen, and then press it for a clue.) You need to use the same fire as you use on the Stone Faces eye to light a brazier back there.
