The Ogre

I forgot the ogre was an ogre, and not a troll, so I'll ask again . . .
Do we get to fight the ogre? On two playthroughs I never fought the thing. Do I need to trigger something to fight it? Help would be appreciated.

Just massive eye candy and character development support/comedy relief.

That's hard to swallow. Though, I guess Hunted would really be like Gears then in that, players are shown a large beast multiple times within both games, and build up an anticipation for fighting the monster, only to finish without ever confronting the beast. Considering the simplicity of the boss battles, I suppose that if it's true that we do not get to fight the ogre, that we have haven't missed much.

maybe we fight the ogre in DLC. Better be 4 hour long DLC or more, I'd pay 20 dollars for that and sign my soul to the Devil

Going toe to toe would be very hard to believe. BUT, making it an environment fight, using stationary weapons, explosives, maybe even climbing on the ogre and hitting vital spots...

All I know is, I was sooo looking forward to that fight and rather disappointed that nothing came out of it.

*cleans catapult while wistfully pondering*
