Damn Dragons

Post » Sat May 12, 2012 10:17 am

A dragon just killed another one of my horses. That's four now. And Lydia a while back too. It's costing me a fortune.

How many companions/horses have you lost so far?

F**king dragons.

Never bought a horse yet. I thought companions could only die if the player hurt them when there on the ground....

That's why I always travel without companions. I don't like getting them killed lol.

I may or may not have accidentally sprayed them with flames after their health was low from the dragon.
Still the dragons' fault.

Stop buying horses. Be more practical, and steal them.

I usually try and sprint away from my horse before the dragon attacks. I haven't lost anyone to a dragon yet but Lydia had some close encounters, shes dead in a cave now though :(

Haven't lost any yet (lv25 on expert difficulty). A few times my companions fell to their knee, just never dead.

I use them for when I loot dungeons and become over encumbered. Stolen horses run away.

I thought companions were supposed to be invincible? However, Lydia died during a fight with one near the Atronach stone (I think she might have walked in front of one of my flames streams, but I could've sworn she was nowhere near it). Made me about cry, after all we'd been through together.

I yoinked a horse from that fort west of Whiterun after brute forcing my way through the bandits there which somehow resulted in it filling with imperials which I slit all the throats of (2 horses spawn with the imperials). Funny enough the horse doesn't count as stolen and now it fast travels with me but if I dismount it it starts heading BACK TOWARDS the fort which basically means I more or less don't have to worry about it. I just took out a dragon and a giant (by letting the giant kill the dragon and then running under a nearby bridge and fireballing the giant in the shin until it died with my rank 27 destruction) while my horse got out of dodge on its own.

Giants are terrifying by the way that thing took out 60% of the dragon's health with one attack.

Horses are a waste anyway.

Better off throwing a saddle on a mudcrab.

Or a Khajiit.

I've never lost a single thing haha not even guards will die, and its pissing me off. I found so many companions but I can only have one at a time...is it bad that I want a bunch of people to die on me?

Lydia JUST WON'T DIE. After like getting dragon breath to the face and being ewoked by giant ass logs to the face, she's still alive.

I had a horse jump off a cliff earlier today. Gah.

As for Lydia, I just let her chill at my home in Whiterun with my wife. I like to think of her as my mistress.
