After about 60+ hours of play and steam crapping out some 6 times I am getting unusual errors. Now, defeated dragons don't give me souls and the newly found walls don't give me new shouts. It all started after i recieved the aura shout. When I shout it, my screen goes black and fades to red. After about 20 seconds, the graphics pop up like a loaded web page. When i used it last night, it was perfect ... shout it and the effect took place.

Since the last steam crash, my graphics fade in and out. The items stay, but the people's bodies disappear. Also, the game has a constant flicker. Can't say its my hardware, works fine on COD and Crysis. Since Steam seems to have loaded a "new" graphics driver at the very start of my load that Radia didn't seem to have on its web site, I have no idea what it did.

Steam is a bad idea. Steam blows.

It seems all my saves do the same thing. Not sure what a reload will do, but it appears to have corrupted some game file.

Ahhhh, Geyrind'El , the Nords may not again taste the deep cold penetrating arrows taken from my wooded homeland so very far away. its getting cold. dark, and cold........

Run the Tesv.exe, don't run it through steam. If I run it from steam I get nothing but a black or white screen.

Also, flicker may be due to vsync. It was for me. I have a Nvidia gtx 560, and had to make sure vsync was directed by app, and not forced on or off.
