Ive been playing as a high elf battlemage
And one day as i was playing i was attacked by my secon dark brotherhood assassin (the first was a dark elf...this one was a khajiit) on this same day i was at an orc camp when a group of hired thugs busted through the doors and said they were looking for me...i killed them...i then found a contract sent by deekus (an argonian i found out far north who i stole a bunch of jewels from) the contract said he knew i stole from him and sent the thugs to apprehend me....i was like jesus twice in one day? I then persuaded the orc chief to pay for his daughters drowry so she could travel with me (guess technically we were married by orc tradition) then not but 10 steps outside the walls when we made a turn we ran into Thalmor justicators....they immediately attacked me but insubdued them with help from my orc companion..wife...i then found a note on them stating that i have been interfering in thalmor business
Im like "I HAVENT EVEN SEEN ANY THALMOR YET!!!"
How many more groups are going to be out for my throat?

I feel like im gonna go to riften for the first time and immediately get my trousers shanghide before i get my throat slit....

By the way, you've kind of scared me now, as I've killed three random Thalmor I found on the road escorting a prisoner, and now I find out the Thalmor may be out to get me?!

But anyway sounds like a glitch to me.

That's part of the Radiant AI at work. Confirmed that people can come after you if you somehow piss of someone in the game.

Only person i have met who is thalmor was ancano at the college of winterhold but hes just a [censored] not a lunatic who sends thalmor justicators after me just bexause i joined a college he was in.... I havent even talked to the guy
(btw this is mostly a funny thread as i think its hilarious the radient AI decided to catvch up with my highjinks...even if i havent done anything to the thalmor yet...i mean jesus im also an elf...)

It's nothing to worry about when you do something bad like steal, the guy you stoled from will send people after you. I've gotten a pretty big bounty in one of the states, and now bounty hunters are after me. So I just kill the attackers and move along.

I think its just funny how all 3 of these things happened in the same day....cant catch a break lol...

The same happened to me with the three contract killers. After killing them they were linked back to Ulfric's steward (the name escapes me). The only disappointing fact was that there was no dialogue to confront him on why he sent people to kill me. It seems logical to me that if someone hired people to kill me and I survived, that I would want to have a "chat" with this person.
