Can't get "cleared" status on a dungeon?

Post » Fri May 11, 2012 11:23 pm

Hi everyone. Im new to this forum and this is my first post. So forgive me for any lack of forum etiquette. My problem is:

I got this quest to go kill someone in a dungeon. I go in there like a pro and kill EVERYONE (i know i killed everyone because i went back in there 3 times to make sure) and looted every container/plant/random thing and explored every corner of this place. This dungeon could not be anymore cleared....but...

There is still no $*&# "Cleared" Tag for this dungeon!! Does anyone know what gives?

P.S. Sorry if this was covered in a previous post, as im sure it was. I can't be the only OCD person that NEEDS to have every dungeon "cleared"...seriously...its bad folks...

killing the boss probably does it, or maybe it happens when u use the shortcut exit.

I've had the same thing happen with one, but it was one I just took on without a quest and thought that might be the reason. Maybe some year when I talk to someone, he or she will tell me to kill someone in there and when I answer "I already did," maybe then it will be marked.

I dunno.

Thanks for the reply. I already killed the boss in there, since he was for the quest i was in there to do, and i took the shortcut exit many times. (since i ran through it like 3 times to look why it wasnt "cleared".

Make sure you haven't missed any passageways that might have some enemies.

I was thinking along those lines also. Like maybe its not being "Cleared" because some where in the land there is an innkeeper with another quest for this same place, and this place wont be cleared till all the quests were done for this certain area.

Yeah, and like you I went in and out a few times, checking all the corners, hoping to set some flag

This happens to me on an irregular, though too frequent basis. My character at the moment is a dedicated scout who explores just about everything he comes across in his hunting areas. I've yet to figure out why it happens. It has never stopped me from completing a quest luckily, because 90% of the time i'm just in there without a quest. I've chocked it up to "glitch" myself, but I could be missing something.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah im going to say this is some kind of bug also. I ran into more than a few bugs in this game so far, which will happen when a game just came out im sure.
