is there a race that cant get ROCKJOINT

Post » Sat May 12, 2012 2:54 am

this is about to ruin an end the fun of the game for me.

i cant even walk outside of a city with my default guy, Nord? idk, a single hit by a wolf REINFECTS me every time, an even tho its pretty easy to kill ppl with 25% less melee strength its ridiculous that the style of play i want to use is the only one that actually gets hindered cause i havent gotten infected by anything that effects Magic or other fighting styles so far an ive already completed a few Main quests.

so basically i have to restart the game an not bother using the the fighting style i want or spend any of the upgrades ive already wasted on Melee fighting that i could of used towards Magic if i knew Bethesda basically had a mindset of forcing us to play that way, or figure out which race cant be effected by ROCKJOINT so i can actually START to enjoy the game to its full potential the way i want to play it without clearly being singled out an punished for it.

well....bosmer are 50% resistant to diease i think....and theyre probably the best race for archery....also...if you want to continue playing a nord without worrying about diseases....join the Circle in the Companions Guild....and become one with the beast blood >:D

thats not a solution, why should i have to go back to a temple every time i try to roam outside the confines of a city

99% of the time i leave a city is to go on a mission, which i cant fast travel to cause its a NEW area/mission, an theres only so many Cure potions around.

You could also try being a werewolf. It's worth it for the 100% disease resistance.

Yeah, this. I never even use the feral form, just nabbed it for disease resist. Who needs sleep anyways = )

I"ve had Rockjoint a couple of times. I wish there was a way to show active diseases, etc on the game hud. I never knew I had it until I went into a town and the town folk told me I looked sick.

I've been wondering... is there any point to sleeping?

If you're not a werewolf, your skills increase 10% quicker for a while after sleeping. I thought the trade-off was worth it, because honestly, chances are I'm going to max out everything I want long before I actually "finish" the game.

Wait really? That might explain why I have never gotten a disease to my knowledge.
