Doesn't this game remind anyone of Game of Thrones?

It definitely does to me, but I'm not sure if it's intentional. Skyrim has been in development well before the show. I know Dragon Age borrowed from the Song of Ice and Fire books, and it seems like a lot of the fantasy games that came out afterward have taken a darker tone.

Did you ever watch Game Of Thrones? (Dont read the rest, SPOILERSSSSSS!) in the last episode, Khaleesi does not burn because she have dragon blood in it. Means she is a dragonborn. Correct me if I am mistaken...

Well, I've read the first three books and have watched season 1 at least 3 times. Here's what happened:

SPOILERS

Daenarys is the heir of House Targaryen, the very same House that descended from Aegon the Conqueror. Aegon used dragons to conquer Westeros some three hundred years ago. It stands to reason that the Targaryen bloodline has some connection with dragons and can therefore control them to some degree. You could compare them to the Dragonborn if anything though even that's a stretch. The Dothraki however are a barbarian tribe with no relation to the Targaryens or dragons whatsoever. Khaleesi is a strictly Dothraki term that amounts to queen. Notice she wasn't Khaleesi before being married to Drogo, the Khal or king of the Dothraki.

I'm a hardcoe fan of the books. The HBO series was surprisingly well done.

That being said, I can't say that this game reminds me of the books in any way.

Sure dragons are around....but in GoT the dragons represent, I think, the return of "magic".

Magic has always been a part of the elder scrolls lore.

Magic in GoT is described as like using a sword with no hilt.

The GoT books are great just because they lack elder scrolls type of magic. No one runs around throwing fireballs and summoning creatures to their aid.

So I wonder...can Bran warg into a dragon??? hehe.....I think that may upset Daenerys' plan.

You might want to reread the thread then. I was referring to the show, not the books.

I edited my post but my argument remains the same.
