A Forest of Unfinished trees

Post » Sat May 12, 2012 3:22 am

Ive just headed down south from Winterhold on a quest to retrieve a staff for a quest from there when I stumbled across a forest of unfinished trees..... At first I thought that its was an unusual forest until I got closer and seen that the design of the branches are imbedded in what looks like plaster molds just very thin ones.... The location is about 5-6cm directly SW of windhelm (as you look at the map) on the edge of the mountain down there......

Sorry if this has already been posted...

Screen shot or it didn't happen.

Or at least better directions.

More likely a graphics card error on your part than anything else. Then again, Blizzard did have several untextured buildings in the Mists of Pandaria trailer...

I have seen some strange things happen with the textures in Skyrim. I once saw what looked like a mountain, but it actually turned out to be a regular rock that had stretched WAY up into the sky. I think it was caused by a dragon landing on it as it crashed and died.

Your forest is probably just a graphics glitch or error, and not something that's packaged with the game.

Yes that was a bit of a brain fart....

I have just gone back into the game to take a screen shot to post and it and the trees where back to normal so it must have been something else up with my comp or the way it loaded or something......

a dragon attacked me once and it looked like a clay model, no scales or colour, probably a random texture glitch like your forest

I've had this too, do you play on 360? Because this s a confirmed bug on the console. Will be fixed next patch (soon), doesn't happen often enough to break the game though.
