Avalanches

My first post;

I love this game, it's great. Never gotten through Oblivion but this world is just so immersive and full of suprises!

I was walking on the mountain of the Shrine of Azura (you can get the quest in the first big city), I took a wrong turn and instead of going to the top of the mountain I took this road that leads to a dead end with a nice view. What Lydia and myself saw there was quite horrible. We found a cart laying on its side with still a lot of stuff in there. Three fugitives lay dead around the cart and a bit below the horse lay dead. They were buried under snow partly and they looked partly decomposed.

While I went through their stuff I was hearing some noises, firstly I thought the corpses were moaning and got ready to fight some undead but this was not this case. So I carry on looting when I hear a noise again this time it sounded more like roar or thunder and I look up to see if there is a dragon around. I see nothing so I finish me looting when suddenly I see lydia getting knocked over by a number of rocks. The boulders rolling against her drained her life and she was brought to her knees. They were very deadly.
After a bit she got up again. The rocks were still there and I could push them around quite a bit. This game is so full of random events it's really awesome and I wonder if anyone else has seen an avalanche before?

I am wondering that was the way those fugitves died as well which would explain why they were covered partly by snow. however As a note, it was rock avalance, not snow. About 7 boulders or so of different sizes.

Yeah I believe it was, it was no epic snow avalanche as you see on tv but still it was cool to see some large boulders roll down.

No body seen this yet? I wonder if I go back if the carriage with the dead people is still there.

Anyone experience anything similiar yet?

Lol yes that could work! Would be great if some other people go out and explore this and see if they get an avalanche as well!
