I found this stupid. Two guys who are in Chemistry arguing like that.....

I agree, I didn't think it was funny, just sad. I have a couple friends who still play pokemon, but thankfully never ever get into arguments about it, guess they are the 1%.

1. Teleport/fly after making a trainer notice you when they first appear on the screen (they must be off-screen, then as soon as they appear on-screen notice you)

2. Battle a pokemon with a special stat of 21 (the slowpoke owned by the Youngster on route 24 is one of the best known examples of this)

3. Walk and eventually the menu will appear, on closing it, you will battle Mew.

As noted on Bulbapedia, doing this glitch, it's possible to run into a bunch of different pokemon/glitches.

Yeah, that's exactly what I did. But I havent run into any other glitches, so I guess I pulled it off successfuly :laugh:

Yeah, that's exactly what I did. But I havent run into any other glitches, so I guess I pulled it off successfuly :laugh:

The other glitches and pokemon happen if you fight a pokemon with a special other than 21. Since that trainer's Slowpoke has a special of 21, it'll always result in a Mew.

If you don't fight a trainer who you detects you as soon as they appear on-screen and teleport/fly away and battle someone else, you'll get a different pokemon. The page I linked to lists the special that relates to each pokemon.

Of course Dudeskull is a dumb name to give a FEMALE Duskull, still pretty cool.

I don't like nicknaming my Pokemon but whatever.

What WOULD have been a good nickname for Psyduck would be Psychick. Get it? Because baby ducks are chicks and it's psychic. xDDD Psychick!

Or if its female.

....When I do nickname my Pokemon I give them sentence completing names. So instead of "Rapidash, I choose you!" I would nickname them "Why would" or "WhyWould" if it was too long so then when I use them in battle it's "Why would, I choose you!"

I used to do this alot in Halo LAN games...change my name to 'an assassin', so that if I backsmacked someone it'd say "You were assassinated by an assassin"...there were many more, but I can't remember them. Used to have a great laugh coming up with creative ones

Metapod, renamed to....[censored]

[Super Effective]

Pidgey, renamed to...Bum
[Bum used Gust on [censored]]
[Super Effective]

Ditto, renamed to...Sperm
[Sperm transformed into Metapod]

Those were some of the names we used to use.

i played pokemon too, i just meant that it doesn't help but make it easier to generalize pokemon players as immature and childish.

also, i did not name my treeko this but a friends brother named his pencil [censored]

EDIT: lol, the auto censor did not catch that so i had to do it manually
