Say it’s not so.

So I’m playing this game on PC, love the game, looks great immersion, until I go into combat or try to sort my stuff this UI is crap.

So I’ve decided to play using my x-box controller. So now I don’t even seem to have eight hot keys. Now when I go into combat I have to freeze the game by pulling up my favourites. Grab my bow unfreeze the game, fire off a couple of shorts, freeze the game grab my axe and shield, unfreeze the game. Go toe to toe for a while then repeat the process if I need a potion or cast a spell. THIS IS CRAP. This is a totally unsatisfactory combat system, nothing but stop start stop start, for me this has ruined the game, whoever decided that was good enough wants sacking. Looks like its Arkham city for me. Wish I could get my money back.

There are hot-keys. When you press Q highlight a weapon/spell etc and assign it from 1-8.

Maybe you should play using a keyboard, you have hotkeys and you can number your most important things (1 to 8) so you can switch to whatever you want really fast.

Play on keyboards then you have 8 quick slots, if you want to play with controller just use the favorites-button, shouldn`t be too hard.

Regarding the UI is it an way to assign weapon/ spells to right or left hand?
Either an explanation or an released mod.
Right now it's seems pretty random: want to replace my left hand healing spell with summon, soul trap or heal while keeping my sword.

Its an RPG element. Early rpgs were turned based which stopped the fight and allowed you to think about your next move. Skyrim may be an action rpg but its still has rpg elements.
