Perk Problem

Post » Sat May 12, 2012 10:14 am

I created a new character, a Bosmer to focus on archery. I'm currently equipped with a whopping lvl 29 archery and have upgraded to 2/5 overdraw. I still have one skill perk left, but I'm unable to upgrade to 3/5. Is this an issue? or, do I need to just continue leveling to use my remaining perk?

Thanks for any insight.

Your archey skill is level 29? You need to be a certain level to get the 3/5 one, it says it there too.

You can also skip past the overdraw perk and pick another one that improves archery. Note, not all archery perks are that effective or necessary to make a powerful archer. There are also some sneak perks that really buff up the archer, so maybe start spending some points over there. Then you can increase the overdraw once your archery has leveled to 40 for the next step.

Plus, you can save your perc points for later, they do not have to be applied with each level up.

I figured it would need to be 30-35 or something. Wasn't sure, though. Still getting used to the perk system.

it should say the required skill when you mouse over the perk, but its +1 per 20 skill points, ie you can invest one at 0,20,40,60, and 80 for the last one.
most of the 5 point perks work similarly.
