Help me upgrade my comp please :)

Post » Sat May 12, 2012 4:39 pm

So I've always come to these forums for years every time I needed to upgrade my computer, and that time has come again :) I would like a new motherboard, processor, and video card for sure. Any other upgrades you think I would need, please list them! I always need good advice lol. I'm running mostly SWTOR, and would like to be able to run games like Skyrim, Battlefield, Witcher 2, etc on max settings with 40+ FPS. Again thanks for any help and all advice is welcome :) Here is my DxDiag.....

Dell machine? Changing the motherboard pretty much means changing the case as these two components from Dell are rather proprietary still. Not only that, but the Windows OS that came with this system is tied to the BIOS of the motherboard you want to replace...meaning very likely need a new OS disc too.

May want to rethink on what you want to do here. Your processor actually isn't that bad even today. Could just get away with a power supply and video card upgrade to something more powerful.

And you need to indicate a budget you want to spend.
