So right now I'm going through Wildblue for satellite and it's just terrible to put it bluntly. There's a horrible cap on the bandwidth, and the speeds don't really allow me to do all that much more than dial up, not to mention the latency. I get pings of like 2000. Anyways, I'm wondering if somebody could recommend anything to help my situation here. I know there's very few options because of the location of my house.

Get an LTE modem and get your internet from that.

I'm really looking to not have a bandwidth cap. I have 7.5 gigs allowance right now, and if my internet was faster I'm sure I would go over the 5 Gigs or whatever Verizon allows

There aren't really any cheaper options that I can think of. Either negotiate with your mobile provider for an agreeable LTE plan, get an expensive (and high latency) satellite internet dish and subscription, or pay for broadband cable to your house. In the future I think low latency high altitude telecommunications platform based internet might be a reality for rural internet users, but that is far off. Getting a boosted Wi-Fi transceiver and working something out with a neighbor with broadband would probably be illegal in your country, but I don't know your country's laws.

Unfortunately, if you do not have access to high speed internet via a cable of some kind, you are pretty much stuck with the super high latency of satellite or the super low speed of dial up. It is kind of sad that some 3rd world countries have better nationwide internet access than the US does...

It is, & yet many seem to think one's worth is dictated by the connection speed they have.

That's probably because game publishers are unecessarily requiring high speed internet for more and more aspects of their product (like Skyrim on PC, for example).

If you can get AT&T DSL they have a 150GB cap on the 3Mb line and a 250GB on the 6Mb line but they also tend to have issues when it gets cold out, and you do need to be close to the telephone company for the best signal. Comcast i think has a 250GB or 500GB limit ont heir lines but who wants to support them anyway.

I feel your pain. I had the worst satellite internet for ages on account of my house being out in the country somewhat. But then my mother got tired of it and ran a dedicated T1 line to our place for her business and our sanity.
