Hey, so I need some help solving a problem. My problem is that I am a level 12 mage who has done a lot of the quests for Winterhold College but I have come to the one with the staff. As some of you know this involves killing a guy who is impossibly strong for that level. As I can't kill him I can't move any forward with the College. I've been doing a lot of side quests and picking up work where I could, but I'm not leveling up, at all.

So I joined the Companions today and did the first few quests. Now I'm on a mission where I have to intimidate a girl from the Winterhold College, this girl just so happens to be the companion that I took with me to Labyrinthian and got killed. So I can't move forward with the Companions, what do I do to fix this? And how can I level up fast, do I do professions? Because side questing isn't getting me anywhere.

tl;dr Stuck with Winterhold College, stuck with the Companions, how to level up fast?

Noone has a solution

I finished the winterhold chain at level 10 with my mage on master difficulty.
Can't help with the companions.. try to abandon that quest if you can, you will be able to take another.

I've tried this but he spawns a minion, and even if you try to hide he will get you at some point
