I want to carry more stuff?

Post » Sat May 12, 2012 10:47 pm

Okay, not seeing how to increase my strength through attributes like with Oblivion. I hear guys talking about not being able to sell enough of their stuff but I can't figure out how to increase my ability to carry all the stuff I have found. I have to stash it in locations and then come back for it. Any ideas? Thanks all, I am loving this game.

Nice, I was thinking that but couldn't find any details in my game guide. Thanks.

if on pc:

1.) make a save
2.) open console with tilde key (~)
3.) type: player.modav carryweight 100 - adds 100 to carry weight
4.) close console with tilde key (~)

Another thing I found is this amulet that allows you to carry more weight. I'm not sure how much I forget right now but it's a good amount

I love it because I only put it on when I start getting to the limit. Usually I use one for health then I put the weight one on. Currently with the amulet I'm at 375.

No offense intended to anyone but people who WANT to do this (and dont need to) are just sad.

There's also the Steed Stone up by Solitude. +100 carry and removes armor movement penalties. Just a few minutes to the east and a touch north.

I have found an amulet with +30 to carry capacity.

Also, I think there is a pickpocketing perk that increases carry capacity...

Also, the Steed Stone (I think it is up north somewhere) gives you a carry capacity buff as long as you have that stone's buff (remember that only one can be active at a time)

I too find myself maxing out my inventory space easily, and look forward to the point where I can reasonably loot without having to shuffle through my inventory to find "cheap" items to drop. Finding and picking up the buff from the Steed stone helped immensely (I am thinking it is something like +100 to capacity...). I am nearly to the point I can take the pickpocket perk, so that will help out quite a bit as well.
