Does whining really helps?

Everybody is saying he wants this better or that. The game is out already, broken things might be fixed but they aren't going to change the game, right? If talking about mods just go make it happen.

Yes, actually, it does help.

Just about the only things Bethesda has done in the past half-decade or so since Oblivion has been to either just try to make a copy of a mod that was really popular, or try to fix the flaws that people complained about most in the last game. You can seriously look at this game, and see it as "Oblivion, but with a few extra patches", aside from the obvious plot and setting differences. Heck, even most of the plots are just recycled.

See: People complained about overpowered destruction and underpowered conjuration (even though conjuration was actually very powerful, whatever), and now destruction is horribly nerfed, and conjuration is all-powerful.

So how did whining help if its just the previous game (which most of the whines were aimed at how it wasnt Morrowind) with some patches, recycled quests, and messed up magic skills? Your post is a contracdiction of itself.

There are bug lists to hopfully help with future patches, constructive critiism which one hopes the devs use in their future design choices ... but the endless threads of people just whining ... its a game, and life is too short - get over it and move on :P

Whining does not help. Constructive criticism does help though.

Constructive criticism is great. But, it's seems like a vast quantity of the posts on this forum are people [censored]ing about something. Seriously, go play something else. This is a huge, amazing experience, at the low cost of 60$. It's amazing theyve done so much with this game. I am enjoying it immensly. So much that I spend a good deal of my day checking the forums while I'm at work because I'm dying to play. But now these forums are plagued by people who want everything to be perfect for the way they want to play. Uh...that's kind of tough for a developer to make every single fan happy. Seriously, instead of focusing on the things that you don't like about this game, try to enjoy what you love. That's what it's all about. You make this game what you want it to be. Were lucky to have the ability to do that, and PC users that [censored], please...F'n mod it. /rant....I love this game and I'm appreciative of the chance to enjoy it.

there are those who will always fail to interpret criticism as criticism and will feel the need to break forum rules by complaining about complainers. And this isn't a statement of me whining about those who whine about whiners, it is just a statement.

Whining does not help. Constructive criticism does help though.

The problem is that people who don't want to listen to constructive criticism can't tell the difference between the two.

I guess I wasn't the only one thinking that same thing.

People get to come here to criticize the game. (I mean, I can't think of a more suitable place than the company's own official forum. ;) )

So long as everyone respects what is only ever a difference of opinion, then there's no trouble with that.

As well, it is entirely possible to criticize a game while still enjoying it overall. For example, I'm absolutely loving Skyrim right now. But that doesn't mean there aren't some things I wouldn't like to have seen done differently.
