*something is missing = an option to mark stuff as read in the view new content place*

I have every now and then pressed view new content and then marked everything as read, before the new forum look. With the new look, I've yet to do it and just now desided to smooth and easy mark everything as read. So I click View New Content, but there's no option to mark everything as read there..? Why has this awesome feature been removed? Or is it there and I'm just too blind to see it? If it's truly removed, would it be too much to ask to have it back?
