Need a tip

I have a hard time deciding what would be better for a dual axe wielding warrior type; heavy or light armor ? Since dw disables blocking I was thinking that heavy armor rating would negate some of the damage which I will take since I can't avoid it with blocks, on the other hand dw is built around killing stuff before it kills you, wouldn't the extra stamina regen and faster movement help me more later on ?

I appreciate any feedback that would help me decide :unsure2:

Heavy armour helps with damage mitgation, but the 50% faster stamina regen perk in the light armour tree i would assume is probably crucial to a dual wielder as they are always gonna be on the offence. light armour gets my vote.

I personally prefer Heavy armour. You'll take enough damage as a dual wielder, you need something to negate that with. (The stamina use isn't a lot unless you spam powerattacks)

Just to add upon my previous post, you'll spend more then enough time flying in the air as a dual wielder. Especially on the higher difficulties. I'm playing on Expert and especially magic users will cut you down if you're not careful. (A stronger one managed to two shot me) So my advise would be to roll a Breton aswell for the 25% magic resistance, atleast the heavy armour takes away the difficulties you'll have with melee opponents.

I think that light armor is more appropriate for a dual wielding DPS character because of faster stamina regeneration.
