Who wants a Morrowind reboot?

Experience the game that set the stage for the series in all of its former glory with better aesthetics? I would love to see solstheim and red mountain!

I thought arena and Daggerfall set the stage.

I'd rather see Daggerfall rebooted.

But I dont want it to happen.

It stays in the past - and it holds nice memories.

I think my face would melt from the Awesome.
From what I have seen there are mods that run Morrowind on the Oblivion engine. Maybe something like that will be done with Skyrim?

No. Morrowind is gone. It's done. If you want Morrowind, go play it with all the graphical mods they have for it.

Somebody updated all the graphics for it anyway in a mod.

no. and i prefer morrowind to any of its following titles so far. i liked morrowind for its content not its graphics. i'd rather have them work on their next game and use the time they would have not rebooting morrowind to add as much content as possible.

I'd rather see a Daggerfall remake.

It would be awesome to explore the entire continent of Tamriel in glorious detailed 3D :D

I'd like to fight Dagoth Ur, and Almalexia in the new engine and with full dialogue. Not so much the entire game though. I like it how it is.

Would be cool, but I'd rather they focus on making The Elder Scrolls VI.

I wouldn't want it myself, Morrowind is fine the way it is. Same goes for Arena and Daggerfall.

I don't like the term "Reboot."

That implies changes.

I like Morrowind the way it is.

Absolutely not. Even the Morrowind texture packs don't do it for me. Morrowind's appeal rests in the dated graphics. They add to the nostalgia that makes me keep on coming back.

A Morrowind reboot with Creation engine but DAGGERFALL mechanics would be OK.

Still would rather not see it at all though, especially to keep the Morrowind [censored] at bay.

Do the OP realizes that the term "reboot" attached to the name "Morrowind" is a civil war on the verge of exploding?

No, thanks! Morrowind was a great game but I'd rather have a brand new TES VI taking place in one of the provinces that we haven't visited so far.

Why return to Morrowind when there are provinces that haven't been touched? I think a game set in Elswyr or Blackmarsh would be really cool. Jungle setting, as well as fleshing out the history of the beast races...

Nah. Bethesda now is not the same as the Bethesda that developed Morrowind. They'd probably cut it down to 12 skills and 3 birthsigns, and the only thing they'd be "rebooting" is a new set of bugs for it. Along with terribad PC optimization.

You mean Arena.
Daggerfall was set in the Iliac Bay. (Hammerfell and High Rock)
