collector's edition dragon

Post » Sat May 12, 2012 8:10 pm

So, I purchased the collector's edition and have one very simple question. How do you get the dragon to firmly stay on its stand? I looked at the picture that came in the box, but the right claw (facing the front) does not line up with where it's supposed to go. It looks like the wing's are not angled correctly or something. Anyone else having trouble with this?

It most likely won't look 100% like the picture down to every detail. i couldn't get mine to sit exactly like it but I got it on there well enough. Just do your best to follow the picture without bending any of the dragon.

I bought the game for the game... not the adornments. :|

Yeah, mine doesn't line up perfectly, either, but it does stay. Just fidget with it and it should hold, even if it doesn't look perfect. :/

Ok, good for you, but whats wrong with other people wanting the CE? It's our money so it shouldn't matter to anyone how a person spends their own money. It's not hurting anyone.

thanks for the info. I guess I was a little disappointed that, for 150$, Bethesda didn't put very much effort into making sure the pieces connected properly. The dragon is pretty bad-ass though.

The dragon is bad-ass, I would have paid more for a metallic dragon and I am trying to figure out a way to rig the dragon to sit on the corner of my Sony LCD TV. The wing positioning (which is very cool) limits the reusability of the dragon outside of the base :)

All that said, I could not get mine to line up exactly as indicated in the picture but I think the way I have it sitting on the base actually displays it better than the supplied picture so I am happy. As far as I am concerned, if it sits on the base, looks good, is easy to place and remove then it is win/win.

The next question is how do I get one of the Nord statues so I can drop it in my living room :)
