So I recently bought a http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139028&Tpk=corsair%20cx600 power supply (corsair cx600). The 12 4x pin does not fit into my motherboard. Their is a connector available, but it inot the same dimensions as the power supply. My power supplies pin is 4 wide and 2 pins tall. Where as the motherboards connector is 2 wide and 2 tall (2x2). Is their any way I can use this PSU still? thanks for the help.

BTW my motherboard is this http://pcpartpicker.com/part/gigabyte-motherboard-gam68mts2p

Thanks

You should have two connectors: a 24 pin ATX one for board power, and that 4 pin one specifically for your CPU

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128469 It has both the 24-pin ATX and the 4-pin CPU connectors labeled.

Newegg lists:

1 x Main connector (20+4Pin)
1 x 4+4 Pin ATX 12V

You will use the 20+4 Pin for the main board power, plus the 4 Pin for the CPU (without the optional +4)
