To anyone uses turtle beach, or a similar headset.

Just got them today, brilliant sound but my ears start to hurt just 5 minutes after wearing them. I have no problem with any earphones etc that I use with my iPhone.

It may just be how I'm feeling today, anyone else have a similar experience?

Not all headphones fit all skulls and ears. Long term comfort is not something you can gauge online or even at most stores. Headphones can feel ok for a minute or two in the store, but after 20 or 30 minutes they start to be real uncomfortable. Even Sennheiser, who makes good headphones, has some models that I can't wear for a long time.

You may be able to adjust the earpads and such, but it might be best to take them back and get headphones that fit you better.

Thanks for the advice, I brought them from amazon.

I don't really think the problem is fit though, it feels more sound related.

I will give them another go later, see what they are like tomorrow.

This is litteraly the 4th turtle beach headphones thread. If it weren't for the fact that all the others were different posters, I would swear we have an advertising bot. As it is, they must really be some good headphones, or have a hell of a subliminal messaging program for advertisments.

They are not as good as you'd expect tbh

I don't know why everyone is so obsessed with them

My Sennheiser headphones are more comfortable and have better sound quality than any Turtle Beach headphones I've tried
