Hey guys I'm curious about damage output calculations and how it works an hopefully some one can help me out.

I recently upgraded my thief with the sneak perk that increases your stealth attacks x6. That made me start thinking as to x6 what? I know that the low level dagger I have has a 5 in damage so I know that would be a x6 on that, but I also realize strength and one- handed weapons stats have to play a part too. What I don't understand is what numbers do they use to come up with how much damage u output and how can I figure it out. What's all envoled in my x6 stealth kill?

I have always been a player that is more interested in the world and the story then the stats and calculations and what not.

For some reason this time I find myself really wanting to know what's running under the hood?

Also now that it seems we only have 3 major stats and that's it is calculating even done??
