BF3 Error message: 'Failed to join server, please check your

For some reason, whenever I try to join a game in BF3 it gives me that message.

Here's what I've tried to fix it:

Restarting the game
Restarting the console (X-Box 360)
Restarting the motem

I have tried an EA help thing but that required me to type in my router's IP address into the browser, which did not work.

Can anyone help me?

EDIT: I also checked my connection, which I didn't really need to, considering I'm usually talking to people in an X-Box LIVE party.

Reinstall your operating system.

Yes, that was one of the responses I got from EA and some idiots on Dices forums when I was trying to get the steaming Pike of [censored] that is BF3 to even get to the main menu.

Here is how you get it to work. Take the disk out, put it in the microwave and nuke it for two minutes. Then uninstall it from your chosen gaming platform.

That is pretty poor support, almost like saying "buy a new Xbox and see if it works". Glad I never had any problems with it.

Have you tried switching Internet service provider?

Can't there is only one ISP that services my area so I'm kinda stuck. It's not an internet issue for me. It's a poorly functioning EA product.

That was a joke btw :P

I can't really say I've had bad experiences with them, but they've published some pretty bad games like spore (looked so cool in the 05 demo)

Waymer try deleting all updates for the game, then reinstalling them.

Most likely a server problem. Either the authorization or Matchmaking server is overloaded or otherwise unavailable.

Have you ever been able to connect?

I thought it was, but wasn't sure. :)

Hey, I actually liked Spore. It was pretty fun for what it was. Too bad the treatment I received in regards to BF3 it's very unlikely I will buy another EA game.

Honestly, while it was a serious issue for the first month that the game was out, I have not seen that in a long, long time. I thought they fixed all of that. Apparently people are still having issues though. I know my one friend has to reset all of his loadouts. He gets a message saying that his profile is corrupted everytime he starts the game. It tracks everything he does, but it gives him that annoyance everytime he plays.

Do you choose from the server browser or quick match. From my experience the server browser is pretty crappy.

Well I got it to work, so I played the [censored] out of it and didn't leave the server I was in, now I'm going to get back on in a couple of minutes to see if it's really fixed, if not, I'll delete the 2.5 gig update and reinstall it, hopefully it will work.

And I was able to connect 99% of the time when I got it, this started a couple of days ago, if the matchmaking really is overloaded then DAMN this game is more popular than I thought it would be!

I figured everyone would be playing MW3.
